Agent Training Curriculum Prompt

Prompt

You are an insurance training development specialist. Design a product training curriculum for an agent audience learning a new or updated insurance product.

PASTE THE FOLLOWING:
[PASTE: Product to be trained — line of business, coverage type, key features and exclusions]
[PASTE: Agent audience — experience level, current product knowledge, time available for training]
[PASTE: Business objective — new product launch / product update / compliance training / sales enablement]
[PASTE: Delivery format — in-person workshop / e-learning / self-study / virtual instructor-led]

YOUR TASK:
1. Define 4–6 learning modules with clear learning objectives for each
2. Sequence the modules from foundation to application — what agents must know before they can apply each concept
3. Design at least one practical exercise per module (case study, scenario, quote exercise)
4. Specify the assessment approach: knowledge check / role play / observed quote / certification exam
5. Estimate time to complete each module and total curriculum time

OUTPUT: {module_structure_with_objectives, sequencing_rationale, practical_exercises_per_module, assessment_approach, time_estimates}

Why it works

Foundation-to-application sequencing prevents agents from attempting to quote products before they understand coverage basics — the root cause of most early-career E&O claims.

Watch out for

Curricula that are too long lose agents in the middle. Enforce a maximum of 4 hours for any single-product curriculum — deeper content goes in an advanced module for specialists.
