Muse
Meta's personal AI agent that does the work for you — sending email, booking travel, filling out forms, and making purchases on its own cloud computer, with your approval before sensitive actions.
What it does
Muse is a personal AI agent from Meta, launched in September 2026 and powered by Meta's Muse Spark model. Instead of only answering questions, Muse takes action: it runs on a dedicated cloud computer (Muse Secure VM) with its own web browser, so it can open sites, fill out forms, book travel and appointments, send emails, negotiate bills, and complete purchases through Link by Stripe using one-time card numbers. It keeps working on longer tasks after you close the app and checks back when something changes or it needs approval. Muse remembers details you share and makes unprompted suggestions — for example, turning a saved Instagram recipe reel into a grocery list. You choose which apps it connects to and how much access it gets (such as read-only email versus sending on your behalf), it asks before sensitive actions like sending email or buying something, a separate Sentinel agent must approve anything it sends to the internet, and an audit trail shows completed and planned actions. Muse is available in the US on iOS, Android, the web at muse.ai, and inside WhatsApp, with AI glasses support coming.
Why AI-NATIVE
Muse is built from the ground up as an autonomous AI agent — its core product is an AI that plans and executes multi-step tasks across apps and the web on the user's behalf, not AI added to an existing product.
Best for
Solo professionals use Muse to offload personal admin — inbox follow-ups, travel booking, appointments, bill negotiation, and errands — so the agent handles multi-step busywork in the background while they focus on their work.
Micro business owners use Muse as a low-cost personal assistant for scheduling, email, purchasing, and form-filling — getting assistant-style help on the free tier or a $20/month plan without hiring.
Limitations
Muse works best when connected to email, calendars, payments, and other personal services — and its security and privacy claims are Meta's own and have not yet been independently verified, which matters given Meta's privacy track record.
Muse launched for individual users in the US with no admin controls or team features announced — businesses needing governed agents across a team should look at Lindy or Manus.
A payment card is required to sign up, and heavier use prompts an upgrade to the $20/month Power or $100/month Maximum plan once free usage runs out.
