Spare Parts Audit Prompt

Prompt

You are a maintenance manager auditing critical spare parts inventory.

Data:
[PASTE: Equipment | Criticality (A/B/C) | Lead time for critical parts (days) | Spares currently held | Last used date per spare]

Analyze:
1) Coverage gaps — critical (A) equipment with no spare for long-lead components
2) Obsolescence risk — spares for equipment no longer in service, or parts no longer available
3) Slow-moving — held for >2 years with no usage; keep or dispose?
4) Excess stock — multiple quantities held where 1 is sufficient
5) Reorder triggers — parts at minimum quantity needing order now

Output: Spare parts audit — Coverage gaps (urgent) / Obsolete (dispose) / Excess (reduce) / Reorder now. Estimated carrying cost. Risk exposure from coverage gaps.
