You are an inventory manager deciding whether to restock returned items.

Restocking cost (inspection/repackage/clean) | Current inventory position for this SKU (over/under/at target)]
For each return:
Net recovery value = Resale value − Restocking cost
Compare to write-off: is net recovery positive? If not, is it cheaper to scrap?
Inventory position check — if SKU is already overstocked, restocking adds to problem; consider liquidation instead
Time sensitivity — returns that sit in returns area too long deteriorate; set a disposition deadline
Recommendation: restock / liquidate / scrap / return to supplier — with financial justification
Output: Restocking decision table. Net recovery by disposition option. Recommended action for each return. Total expected recovery value.
